POSITIONS VACANT

Applications are invited from Pakistani nationals for contractual appointments, initially for one year (extendable based on performance), in the PSDP Project titled, “Development of ICT and Artificial Intelligence (AI) based Precision Agriculture systems utilizing dual-use Aerospace Technologies-GreenAI”, at NASTP, Rawalpindi / Islamabad, under the Ministry of Defence, Pakistan.

1. Project Manager

• Pay Scale: PPS-9
• Number of Posts: 01
• Qualification/Experience: Ph.D/MS in DSP, RADAR, Communication, Aerospace, IT with 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in DSP systems research and RADAR systems design for civil and/or military applications. Proficiency in at least one Project Management tool (Redmine, Primavera, Microsoft Project etc) required.

2. Scientific Officer

• Pay Scale: PPS-8
• Number of Posts: 01
• Qualification/Experience: Master’s in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/BE (DSP, Embedded, HPC, etc) with 3 years of relevant experience in system design and development.

3. Senior Software Engineer

• Pay Scale: PPS-8
• Number of Posts: 01
• Qualification/Experience: MS/BS/BE in Software, HPC, Cloud, etc with 4-5 years of Cloud Native application development and QA experience.

4. Software Engineer

• Pay Scale: PPS-7
• Number of Posts: 01
• Qualification/Experience: MS/BS/BE in Software, HPC, Data Science, etc with 3 years of relevant experience in system design and development.

5. HPC Engineer

• Pay Scale: PPS-7
• Number of Posts: 01
• Qualification/Experience: MS/BE in Software, HPC, Cloud with 3 years of relevant experience in system design and development.

6. HPC Cluster Admin

• Pay Scale: PPS-6
• Number of Posts: 02
• Qualification/Experience: BS/BE/Diploma in Networks, IT Infrastructure with 1 year of relevant experience in Datacenter & network operations & management.
